Guangfa Securities Headquarters upholds our philosophy of holistic design. The interior design expands on the main concept of the tower, wherein planning, architecture, landscape and interiors are articulated into an expressive design through generative facade system. The design areas include entrance lobby, sky-lobby, elevator lobbies and cars, public corridors and bathrooms. The seamless integration of these elements creates a thematic experience across the entire premises.
The entrance lobby exudes a sophisticated ambience while enabling convenient circulation legibility. Visitors access the information desk laterally while experiencing the grand lobby; the north and the south sides are wider catering to more people entering along this axis. Circular information desk and coffee pavilion are located at corners to maximize openness. The interior aesthetics is generated as a continuation of the facade elements. The outward projection of the entrance canopy extends inwards and shapes the ceiling and generates the core cladding. The cladding elements include wood grain marble from Fujian region for the upper wall and jade-like white onyx with soft back light on the lower wall, the combination expressing a fusion of eastern and western cultures and progressive image of the tower. The exterior water feature seemingly flows inside while grey granite floor extends to the plaza, integrating interior and exterior. A basalt stone floored pool surrounds an ambient seating area which promotes informal discussions and interaction among visitors. The palette is solemn and understated, conveying stability, serenity and refined elegance - characters of a financial headquarters.
The Sky Lobby is Guangfa Securities’ arrival lobby, thus expressing their corporate image and values. The layered wall cladding is inspired by traditional Chinese warrior armours, symbolizing strength and solidity while the material palette including aluminium, American cherry-wood and Jerusalem marble represents boldness and sophistication. Façade mullions fold inwards to create a soaring 18-meter tall atrium. Natural light is complemented by soft artificial illumination filtered through the perforated metal sloped ceiling. The glazed façade is pushed out to the edge of the fins to amplify the uniqueness of this arrival lobby.
Customized elevator cars that reflect the design principles, impart a continuation of experience across all levels. The basalt stone flooring and the aluminium wall cladding continue from the elevator lobby into the elevator cars. The soft geometry, three-meter tall height and mirror polished ceiling enhance grandeur of the elevator cars while emphasizing their vertical movement. The public corridors consist of thematic material palettes representing values of the premium offices whereas public bathrooms offer a sophisticated experience through its modular minimal detailing and advanced fixtures.
Guangfa Security Headquarters Interiors embodies harmonious integration of architecture and interiors to provide spatial and aesthetic continuity and a unique brand experience while projecting an international corporate identity of its company.
