It is situated between two buildings designed by David Chipperfield and Steven Holl. Originally build as a wearhouse in 1953, the building was completely refurbished in office building. The original façade was replaced with a full height glazing system, which is tremendously improving the lighting conditions in the deep floors of the building and increasing its porocity. Prefabricated façade panels and new insulation were used in order to clad the original exposed reinforced concrete structural frame. The building open floor plans give a desirable conditions and flexability of arranging each rental floor or space. The vertical circulation is being served by two fully glazed lifts, where staff kitchens and WC are located on each side of the building core. The last two floors were completely remodelled and setbacked from the building footprint, thus creating a marvelious terrace overlooking Rhine and the whole Media Harbour area.
