In 1994 a complete renovation was undertaken and only the original structure of the building was preserved. One of the main parts of the refurbishment was done in the basement and the ground floor. New building library and conference room were introduced to serve the government building needs and which are being illuminated through skylights in the ceiling. The building façade was replaced with glass façade in which the spandrel panels were printed with art designs from the artist Stefan Laskowski, which were inspired from the art movement biomorphism. The end result was incredible façade that changes in color tones and views depending on the different lighting conditions.
